BB Physio has over 20 years experience in private practice and professional sports and has developed a multi-faceted, pro active treatment approach.

Established by Bridget Burleigh to provide the highest standards of Physiotherapy Care. Services are available in Clinics (Central and West London), Online and in the Community, making it easier for everyone to access this first class high quality care.

BB Physio is passionate about improving individual health and well-being. We treat the underlying cause of your pain, not just your symptoms. We take into account your current abilities, lifestyle, any sporting activities and what your goals are to develop the most suitable treatment approach.

Bridget Burleigh

Physiotherapist

Bridget graduated from the University of East London and has over 20 years experience working in the NHS, private practice and with professional sport Teams. She has previously worked in various clinics in London but has also worked for RFU, Wasps Rugby Club, Wimbledon, AELTA Tennis, GB/ England Hockey, British Judo, British Gymnastics and England Netball. She has worked at various International sporting Events, London Olympics and European Championships with helping athletes from a variety of sporting disciplines train towards these events and managing injuries as they arise. Bridget is particularly interested in rehabilitating patients be it from a recent fall, surgery or returning to full activity. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapist and brings a wealth of experience from working first hand with various professional sports.

Bridget has a keen interest in promoting healthy active lifestyles and promoting the flow of efficient movement through the body.  She has spent time treating people from a variety of Orthopaedic, Rheumatology, Musculoskeletal and sporting problems. Her Masters involved studying various rehabilitation techniques around the world and analysing the quality of the research. Now she incorporates the best suited techniques to the individual in resolving their problems. She is also a qualified Clinical Pilates Instructor and Acupuncturist.

  • Spine injuries – neck, thoracic, lower back

  • Shoulder, hip/groin, knee and ankle injuries

  • Musculoskeletal / Occupational Injuries

  • Pre and Post-surgery Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

  • Paediatrics

 

A keen sports woman herself with one London marathon under her belt, you will either see her training in the gym, on the squash court, practising Tai Chi or gracing the seas as she kitesurfs the UK coastline.
